Tournament is a gamemode introduced on 28th April 2020.

The eponymous Tournament Mode is all about putting your racing and wrecking skills to the ultimate test by competing in thrilling challenges, not only against the game, but also against the other players! It all boils down to being a boss by winning trophies in challenges and earning fame, with new challenges coming every day, every week and every month, and then using the acquired fame to claim exclusive rewards from the tournament shop, with new epic rewards each season. The daily challenges are like bite-size snacks, a fun thing that you can tackle each day to prepare you for the real meat of the Tournament Mode: the prestigious weekly and monthly challenges that make you face-off with the other players around the world in exciting time-limited leaderboard challenges, with the goal of conquering the leaderboards and being crowned the undisputed king of demolition!

There are 6 challenges constantly available, four daily challenges[1], one weekly challenge and one monthly challenge. Depending on the event result player gets rewarded with Fame, a Tournament exclusive currency, which can be spent on items in the Tournament Store.

In weekly and monthly challenges the player competes against other players' scores on a leaderboard and gets rewarded with Fame based on their placing on the leaderboard after the event is over. For playing the challenge player gets a bonus of 100 Fame.

Rewards[]

Each event has 3 prize pool tiers, Gold, Silver and Bronze, with Gold having the highest prize pool and Bronze having the lowest. Gold tier prize pool represents the total amount of Fame in the event's prize pool.

Completing a tier completes the tier and all tiers bellow it, meaning replaying the completed tiers will not reward player any more, i.e. completing the Bronze tier completes the Bronze tier, completing the Silver tier completes the Bronze and the Silver tier and completing the Gold tier completes all tiers. After completing a tier lower than Gold the tier's prize pool gets substracted from each of the higher tiers' prize pool, i.e. completing the Bronze tier lowers the prize pool of the Silver and the Gold tier by the total of Bronze tier's prize pool and completing the Silver tier lowers the prize pool of the Gold tier by the total of Silver tier's total prize pool.
